19 de February de 2025

Pamplona continues to advance its sustainability
efforts
and urban development. The City Council has shortlisted three
finalist proposals to redevelop Plaza Santa Ana, aiming to transform it
into a vibrant green space that fosters community engagement and environmental
well-being.

The proposals, titled “Basoa”,
“El sitio de mi recreo”, and “Aquí convive un
barrio”
, introduce diverse ideas to revitalize this urban space. Key features include:
· The creation
of green shaded areas, improving the natural environment.
· Wooden
pergolas and seating spaces
to encourage social interaction.
· Water play
ponds and recreational areas
for families and children.
· Inclusion of community
and civic centers
, enhancing neighborhood engagement.

These proposals will be presented to the
public in a citizen participation phase, allowing residents to share
their opinions and contribute to the final design.

With this initiative,
Pamplona strengthens its commitment to sustainability, urban renewal, and
enhancing residents’ quality of life
.
