The challenge
As a European Project Manager, you will work directly with Management and in coordination with the technical R&D team and specialised consultants.
Your mission will be to identify European funding opportunities, drive YSIUM’s participation in international projects and coordinate the preparation of competitive proposals, connecting the company’s technological capabilities with the European programmes that best match them.
We are looking for someone who can understand technology, identify opportunities, structure projects and make things happen.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and analysing European funding calls and programmes.
• Identifying opportunities and assessing their fit with YSIUM’s capabilities, products and development lines.
• Preparing and coordinating European project proposals.
• Coordinating the preparation of project narratives, budgets and technical and administrative documentation.
• Working closely with the R&D and Management teams to turn ideas and technological developments into competitive proposals.
• Supporting the identification and coordination of partners and collaborating organisations.
• Maintaining communication with a range of national and international stakeholders.
• Monitoring opportunities, funding calls, timelines and deadlines.
• Contributing to the development of an internal methodology to ensure continuity and long-term growth of the company’s European project activity.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with 2–3 years of experience in the preparation, coordination or management of R&D&I, innovation or competitive funding projects, particularly if you have worked with public funding calls, collaborative projects or technology, healthcare or business organisations.
We need someone who can operate effectively in complex technological environments and understand both the logic behind product development and the requirements of European programmes.
In addition, you should have:
C1 level of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical and information-structuring skills.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
Autonomy and strong self-leadership skills.
Ability to coordinate different stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with technical, clinical and management profiles.
Initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
Confident use of digital tools. We work with Google Workspace and the Microsoft environment, and we particularly value experience using AI tools.

Training
A university degree in Engineering, Health Sciences, Biotechnology, Innovation Management or a related field would be particularly well suited to the role.
