Autonomous Driving, Perception and ADAS Engineer

Functions

We are looking for an Autonomous Driving Engineer to support the development, integration, validation and deployment of perception, ADAS, teleoperation and supervised autonomous driving systems for electric vehicles and robotic platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Automation or a related field. Knowledge of autonomous driving, ADAS, mobile robotics or artificial perception systems. Knowledge of onboard sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, IMU or similar systems. Programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB/Simulink or similar environments. Ability to work with sensor data, test logs, telemetry and validation records. Basic knowledge of networks, communications, embedded systems and control architectures. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical diagrams and system architectures. Interest in electric vehicles, teleoperation, by-wire systems, robotics and advanced mobility. Availability to participate in vehicle testing, field trials and functional validation activities

Training

Required academic background: Telecommunications Engineering. Electronics Engineering. Computer Science Engineering. Industrial Engineering. Automation and Robotics Engineering. Master’s degree in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems, Computer Vision, Automotive Engineering or a related field. Additional training will be valued in: Autonomous driving and ADAS systems. Mobile robotics. Artificial perception and computer vision. Sensor integration and calibration. ROS / ROS2. Python, C++ or MATLAB/Simulink. Embedded systems and vehicle communications. CAN bus, Automotive Ethernet, GNSS, LiDAR, radar and camera systems. Functional safety, validation of critical systems and vehicle testing.

Languages

Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required. Spanish will be considered a plus for day-to-day communication with the local team.

Experience

Previous experience will be valued in any of the following areas: Development or integration of autonomous driving, ADAS, mobile robotics or intelligent vehicle systems. Integration of sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, IMU or perception systems. Calibration, synchronization and validation of onboard sensors. Sensor data processing, log analysis, telemetry and video analysis. Programming in Python, C++, MATLAB/Simulink, ROS or ROS2. Computer vision, object detection, segmentation, tracking, localization or sensor fusion. Field testing, functional testing, prototype validation and troubleshooting. Technical documentation, requirement definition, test protocols and validation reports. Automotive systems, electric vehicles, by-wire systems, teleoperation or robotic platforms. Junior profiles will also be considered, provided they have a solid technical background, strong learning ability, engineering judgement and a genuine interest in participating in an electric, teleoperated and supervised autonomous mobility project.
