Sales engineer (For multinational company based in Navarre)

Functions

A. Business development • Prospecting and attracting new clients and business opportunities (public and private). • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients. • Identifying and opening new lines of collaboration with companies, engineering firms and entities in the sector. B. Technical advice and proposal preparation • Analysis of customer needs and definition of the most appropriate technical solution. • Coordination with the engineering department for the preparation of bids. • Preparation of budgets, technical reports, presentations and supporting documentation. • Presentation and defence of technical and economic proposals to customers or in tenders. C. Monitoring and management of opportunities • Monitoring of bids, negotiations and awards. • Coordination with technical departments in the transfer of information on awarded projects. • Technical and commercial support during project execution when necessary. D. Strategic development and representation • Identification of trends, opportunities and new lines of business. • Collaboration in defining commercial strategies and growth objectives. • Representation of the company at events, trade fairs and forums in the energy sector. E. Administration and reporting • Maintaining the CRM system, keeping it up to date with customer information, offers and projects. • Preparing commercial activity reports and sales forecasts. • Compliance with internal quality, safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Specific knowledge: o Energy efficiency, photovoltaic energy, public lighting, electrical installations, electromobility. o Interpretation of technical projects and budgets. o Applicable regulations on energy and public procurement. • Other: Willingness to travel.

Training

• Education: Technical or higher engineering degree (electrical, energy, industrial or similar).

Languages

Languages: Knowledge of French will be considered an asset.

Experience

Experience: At least 2 years in commercial or technical-commercial roles within the energy or facilities sector.
