Audivisual sector
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
- The cultural and creative sector, in their broadest sense, represent 4% of the GVA of the Foral Community and create 2% of jobs in Navarra, around 6,000 employees. Navarra stands out for the importance of the musical and recording sector, thanks to its share in European employment (0.007%) and the existing movement around audiovisual production. Creativity, on the other hand, particularly in its digital side, is considered to be vital for the competitiveness of the rest of the industrial sectors.
- Navarra has the Cultural Patronage Law and tax incentives for investment in national and international film productions and audiovisual works.
