San Fermín 2025: a celebration of respect, culture and community

July festival drew nearly 1.8 million people in 2025, with a 19?% drop in
police reports and a record-breaking TV audience, highlighting a respectful,
safe, and vibrant celebration.

  • Attendance: Approximately 1.8
    million
    attended Sanfermines 2025, about 10?% fewer than last year,
    affected by event cancellations and public transport strikes.
  • Safety: Police reports fell by
    19?%, primarily thefts.
  • Bull runs: The eight bull runs
    averaged 1.364 million viewers on RTVE, with almost 64?% audience
    share—the highest since 2022.
  • Cultural turnout: Over 430,000
    attended the fireworks, 185,000 saw the Giants, and 18,000 joined
    the “Pobre de mí” closing event.
