Navarra sets aside 3,000 hectares for Southern Europe’s first Net Zero Tech Valley

30 de September de 2026

Navarra is
taking another major step towards sustainable industry with the creation of the
Navarra Net Zero Tech Valley, presented as the first industrial
acceleration valley of its kind in Southern Europe.

Around 3,000
hectares will be made available for industrial projects focused on
manufacturing clean technologies
, creating a new en
vironment designed to
accelerate investment and industrial development.
But this is
much more than an industrial site. The initiative aims to bring together
capabilities, simplify the arrival of new investments and position Navarra as a
destination for companies, innovation and specialised talent.

The valley
will focus on some of the industries shaping Europe’s energy transition: solar
and wind technologies, batteries and energy storage, green hydrogen,
electricity grids and biotechnology solutions for climate and energy
.

Measures
are also planned to simplify administrative processes and support companies
throughout their establishment in Navarra, helping new industrial projects move
from investment decisions to implementation more efficiently.
The project
builds on more than 25 years of experience in clean-energy technology
manufacturing
in Navarra, supported by an established network of companies,
technology centres and professionals.

This next
industrial chapter will also be supported by Navarra’s 2027–2030 Industrial
Decarbonisation Programme, with a €150 million budget
, as the region seeks
to strengthen its industrial base while creating high-quality employment.

For
international professionals, the opportunities connected to such an ecosystem
could span renewable energy, engineering, batteries, hydrogen, biotechnology,
digitalisation, advanced manufacturing and R&D.

3,000
hectares may sound like a measure of land. But they also represent room for new
companies, new ideas and new careers to grow.

Navarra
wants to help build the next generation of European industry — and attract the
people with the skills and knowledge to make it happen.
