{"id":6139,"date":"2024-06-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/navarratalent.com\/?p=6135"},"modified":"2026-06-17T03:33:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T01:33:07","slug":"the-government-of-navarra-approves-aids-to-protect-the-rights-of-people-over-65-years-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.navarratalent.com\/en\/the-government-of-navarra-approves-aids-to-protect-the-rights-of-people-over-65-years-old\/","title":{"rendered":"The Government of Navarra approves aids to protect the rights of people over 65 years old"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\nGovernment of Navarra has approved a call for aid to local entities with the<br \/>\naim of protecting the rights of people over 65 years old and to detect<br \/>\nsituations of vulnerability, lack of protection or loneliness. <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The call,<br \/>\nmanaged by the Navarre Agency for the Autonomy and Development of People, is<br \/>\npart of the Active and Healthy Aging Strategy of Navarre and the WHO plan for<br \/>\nthe Decade of Healthy Aging 2020-2030. A total of 300,000 euros has been<br \/>\nearmarked, distributed in two lines: 200,000 euros for retirement library<br \/>\nprograms and 100,000 euros for the creation of elderly networks.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">Retirement<br \/>\ncenter programs are designed to keep the elderly in their environment,<br \/>\npromoting their inclusion and active participation in the community. The grants<br \/>\nare intended for programs with a minimum duration of eight months, with three<br \/>\nhours a day, three days a week, for seniors over 65 years of age with signs of<br \/>\nfragility or seniors over 60 years of age with disabilities. The subsidies will<br \/>\ncover 50% of personnel costs, with a maximum of 20,000 euros per entity.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The second<br \/>\nline of aids will subsidize the creation and maintenance of elderly networks,<br \/>\nformed by institutions, social entities and local businesses, to offer<br \/>\ncomprehensive care and detect situations of vulnerability. <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\nprojects must be carried out in 2024 and promote the defense of the rights of<br \/>\nthe elderly through activities, projects and campaigns. 50% of the costs of<br \/>\nhiring a part-time professional will be covered, with a maximum of 8,000 euros<br \/>\nper entity. Projects must include a detailed description, an annual work plan,<br \/>\nand satisfaction surveys.
