On the people who remind us that a living<br \/>\nsociety must be open to the new generations who add talent to the environment.<br \/>\nAn idea that is not so easy to implement in an old society that sometimes<br \/>\nleaves little room for the new and has to make the effort to adapt to the<br \/>\nvalues brought by the next generation. By the way, a young generation,<br \/>\nincreasingly smaller in numbers and with greater opportunities in a global<br \/>\nsociety, who live the same in Tudela or in Turin, because there are no borders<br \/>\nto hold them back as in the past. The population, the younger ones, go where they<br \/>\nsee better professional opportunities and cutting-edge services, including the<br \/>\ncultural and leisure offer, which is gaining ground in terms of vital needs.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">A pending challenge<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">In the same<br \/>\nway that the very large Navarrese colony scattered around the world, the one<br \/>\nthat appears in the pages of the newspaper in the last Monday edition,<br \/>\nhighlights the challenge of attracting talent that has gone abroad in search of<br \/>\nspecialised training, opportunities and new ways of understanding life and<br \/>\nwork. Nerea P\u00e9rez, former spokesperson for Team Europe in Navarre and now<br \/>\nworking in the European Parliament, offers her advice in this supplement on how<br \/>\nto facilitate the return home. And attracting talent is not a challenge that<br \/>\ncan be solved with a single measure. Meanwhile, Diego Garrido, coordinator of SINAI,<br \/>\nNavarra&#8217;s R&amp;D&amp;I system, explains how this ecosystem can be one of<br \/>\nNavarra&#8217;s great strengths in attracting human capital. Ram\u00f3n Gonzalo, rector of<br \/>\nthe UPNA, points out how the university acts as a catalyst for talent towards<br \/>\nthe territory that hosts it. And Mar\u00eda Iraburu, Rector of the University of<br \/>\nNavarre, shares the reflection and adds the need for &#8220;well-defined<br \/>\ncommitments&#8221; between us and to &#8220;join&#8221; initiatives from the<br \/>\npublic and private sectors.
