{"id":4706,"date":"2023-08-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/navarratalent.com.5-175-45-53.panelninsoft.es\/?p=4701"},"modified":"2026-07-07T03:33:59","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T01:33:59","slug":"the-government-of-navarre-supports-navarrese-cinema-at-the-audiovisual-festivals-of-annecy-and-la-rochelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.navarratalent.com\/en\/the-government-of-navarre-supports-navarrese-cinema-at-the-audiovisual-festivals-of-annecy-and-la-rochelle\/","title":{"rendered":"The Government of Navarre supports Navarrese cinema at the audiovisual festivals of Annecy and La Rochelle"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">Navarra is<br \/>\nmaking progress in the expansion of its audiovisual sector in the international<br \/>\nmarket with the recent presence of the Navarra Film Industry audiovisual brand<br \/>\nat the festivals in the French cities of Annecy and La Rochelle.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">With the<br \/>\naim of boosting and promoting the audiovisual sector abroad, the Navarra<br \/>\nInternational Plan has contributed with economic aid destined largely for the<br \/>\nexclusive use of a table at the ICEX Spain stand at both festivals, as well as<br \/>\nfor promotional material and advice from mentors for the participating<br \/>\ncompanies from Navarra.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\npresence at these two festivals has served to publicise several projects from<br \/>\nNavarra under the umbrella of Navarra Film Industry (NFI), Navarra&#8217;s own<br \/>\naudiovisual brand, which encompasses public and private agents in the sector:<br \/>\nthe Government of Navarra and the public company NICDO, the audiovisual cluster<br \/>\nCLAVNA and the association of companies and professionals in the sector NAPAR.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\nAnnecy Festival <\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">This is the<br \/>\nmost important and largest international animation festival on the<br \/>\ninternational film scene, which took place in the town of the same name in<br \/>\nFrance from 11 to 17 June, and served to present the Navarrese-produced films<br \/>\nRobot Dreams and Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Sunny<br \/>\nSide of the Doc in La Rochelle <\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;In the case of the Sunny Side of the Doc<br \/>\nfestival held in La Rochelle between 19 and 22 June, the Navarra Film Industry<br \/>\nattended for the first time, and did so under its new brand Navarra Documentary<br \/>\nFilm with the attendance of a delegation made up of 15 filmmakers from Navarra<br \/>\nwho were able to present their projects at one of the most important events on<br \/>\nthe calendar for documentary content producers.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">On this<br \/>\noccasion, there have been more than 120 appointments, where producers and<br \/>\ndirectors from Navarra have been able to present their projects to the<br \/>\ninternational market.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;In this case, the promotional material and the<br \/>\nuse of a table at the ICEX stand have served to raise the profile of both<br \/>\nNavarrese animation projects participating in this event.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\naudiovisual sector, a priority for Navarra<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\naudiovisual sector is an emerging industry with great potential for growth in Navarre,<br \/>\nwith a solid scheme of entities, aid and R&amp;D tax credits.
