{"id":4523,"date":"2023-07-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/navarratalent.com.5-175-45-53.panelninsoft.es\/?p=4521"},"modified":"2026-04-04T03:32:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T01:32:14","slug":"american-and-upna-students-solve-five-engineering-challenges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.navarratalent.com\/en\/american-and-upna-students-solve-five-engineering-challenges\/","title":{"rendered":"American and UPNA students solve five engineering challenges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">After five<br \/>\nweeks of living with a group of 28 engineering students from Auburn University<br \/>\nin Alabama, USA, the International Engineering Project in Pamplona, a programme<br \/>\nlaunched by CITI Navarra through the Industry 4.0 Chair (CITI Navarra and<br \/>\nUPNA), has come to an end.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The five<br \/>\nentities that have participated (Viscofan, Tracasa Instrumental, Cener,<br \/>\nTesicnor and Nair Center) highlight the &#8220;talent, creativity and good<br \/>\norganisation&#8221; of the young American and Spanish students.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">This is an<br \/>\ninternational training programme, now in its twelfth year, in which the<br \/>\nstudents, organised in groups, work for the first time in companies with real<br \/>\nprojects. In this case, on heat pumps, automatic learning, design of adapters<br \/>\nfor controllers, fire extinguishing backpacks&#8230; Along with the Americans, six<br \/>\nUPNA students with scholarships from the Industry 4.0 Chair took part, enjoying<br \/>\na five-week international experience with full linguistic immersion. Next year<br \/>\nthey will be able to follow a research project at Auburn University at no<br \/>\nacademic cost.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The<br \/>\ndirector of Tesicnor&#8217;s software development department, David Gonz\u00e1lez Oy\u00f3n,<br \/>\napplauded how the students have successfully solved the challenge &#8220;with a<br \/>\nlot of talent&#8221;.
